Applications:

• Interior walls and ceilings.
• New plaster that is still drying.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use to minimise picture framing or patchy finishes. If thinning, use the same ratio for both cutting-in and rolling. Cut in one wall at a time and roll immediately afterwards, not allowing the cut-in to dry first. Cut in no more than 5 to 8cm from any internal angles, including sockets, switches, skirting and architraves.
• Seal new or bare surfaces with a thinned first coat of Dulux Trade Supermatt (1 part clean water to 3 parts paint).
• Apply 2 finishing coats of Dulux Trade Supermatt thinned at 1 part clean water to 4 parts paint. Additional coats may be required for significant colour changes. For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient tinted paint for the whole job at one time from the same source.

Cleaning:

• Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use to reuse them for future projects, saving money and reducing waste.
• Remove excess paint: Scrape leftover paint into a container for reuse. Wash brushes and rollers with warm soapy water in a sealed bucket or tub, then rinse thoroughly until all soap and paint residue is gone. Let tools air-dry and store in a dry, dust-free area.
• Dispose responsibly: Let paint solids settle at the bottom of the container, then pour off the clear water for reuse or disposal. Allow remaining paint solids to dry fully before disposing of as solid waste. Do not flush paint down the drain, including water used when cleaning tools.

Storage:

• Reuse, recycle or donate: Whenever possible, reuse, recycle or donate leftover paint. Find local services at recyclenow.com. If no Community RePaint service is nearby, consider advertising paint locally as many good causes need it to brighten community spaces.
• Dispose responsibly: Never pour paint or wastewater down drains or sinks. Follow instructions at recyclenow.com to recycle empty packs. Collect wash water in a container, let solids settle, pour off clear water for reuse or disposal, and let solids dry fully before disposing as solid waste.
• Tools and equipment: Remove roller sleeves and store cages in a dry, dust-free place for reuse. If brushes or paint rollers cannot be cleaned or reused, dispose of them in general waste to avoid recycling issues.
