Wallstarters are specifically designed to securely connect a new masonry (brick or block) wall to an existing wall or structure. It is commonly used when extending or building a new wall adjacent to an existing one. The primary purpose of a wall starter is to provide a stable and robust connection between the two walls, ensuring they act as one integrated structure. This is essential to prevent any differential movement between the new and existing walls, which could lead to cracks, instability, or other structural issues.

• Individual ’Turn & Slide" ties accommodate all sizes of brick and block.
• Suitable for all wall thicknesses from 60-250mm.

Installation Requirements:

• Locate starter above DPC level.
• Drill/plug existing wall as per instructions. Fix using supplied fixings.
• Use 1 tie per block course or 3 brick courses (225mm).
• Bed/cover ties in fresh mortar, pressing tie down until it makes contact with block below.
