Tilebacker Tanking Waterproofing Kit 7.5kg

Everything required to tank (waterproof) a wet room prior to tiling.

Features:

• Creates a single part flexible liquid membrane for use on rigid surfaces under ceramic coverings in bathrooms, wet rooms and showers.

• Flexible, compensates tensions, deformations of the substrate, variations in temperature and vibrations.

• Ready-to-use, easy to apply by roller, brush or trowel.
• Two-coloured, for easier visual control of the layer thickness.
• Resistant to lime water, ensures bonding between protective coating and mortar if the adhesive bed is constantly submerged in water.
• It can also be used to waterproof existing surfaces such as plaster, plasterboard or timber.
• Suitable for all flat or vertical surfaces made of any material.
• Compatible with almost every type of underfloor heating and ready for tiling with no further preparation (please check with under floor heating manufacturer).

Applications:

• On moisture-sensitive, absorbent substrates, e.g. plasters, plaster slabs, gypsum fibre boards, plaster boards, wooden chipboards, anhydrite screeds in moist and wet areas subject to usual domestic use.
• On absorbent mineral substrates, e.g. concrete, screed, render, aerated concrete, cementitious levelling compounds for walls such etc.

Kit consists of:

• 4kg (2.5ltr) Tanking solution
• 1ltr Tilebacker primer for timber / plasterboard
• 10mtr sealing tape
• 2 x Internal corners seals
